1. Licence grant
After valid payment, TrueKeep grants the purchaser a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to download, store, and read the purchased digital product for personal, non-commercial use. The licence continues unless it is terminated under this document. There is no recurring licence fee for the purchased edition.
This licence covers the PDF and any companion resources supplied with the edition, whether delivered directly or together in a ZIP archive.
2. What you may do
- store the ebook on devices and personal cloud storage that you own or control;
- make reasonable backup copies for your own use;
- print a reasonable number of copies solely for your personal use;
- convert the file for accessibility or compatibility for your own use, provided protections and attribution are not removed; and
- quote short extracts with appropriate attribution where permitted by applicable law.
3. What you may not do
Unless we give prior written permission, you may not:
- share the downloaded files, companion resources, or your library access with another person;
- sell, rent, lend, sublicense, distribute, publish, upload, or publicly display the ebook;
- use the ebook in a business, paid course, membership, client deliverable, or commercial library;
- remove copyright, attribution, watermark, access-control, or rights-management information;
- circumvent technical restrictions or enable unauthorised access;
- reproduce substantial parts, create a competing or derivative publication, or misrepresent the content as your own; or
- use the ebook or substantial extracts for dataset creation, automated content extraction, or training or evaluating an artificial-intelligence model.
4. Ownership
The ebook is licensed, not sold. Copyright and all other intellectual-property rights remain with TrueKeep or the identified rights holder. Purchasing a copy gives you only the rights expressly stated in this licence.
5. Household and organisational sharing
The licence belongs only to the purchaser. Family members, friends, colleagues, students, employees, and clients need their own lawfully purchased copy unless a separate written multi-user licence has been granted.
6. Updates and formats
The licence covers the edition and formats supplied with your purchase. It does not guarantee future revisions, new editions, alternative formats, or perpetual hosting. You should keep a lawful personal backup. Any update supplied without an additional charge remains subject to this licence unless different terms are provided with it.
7. Refunds and payment reversals
If a purchase is fully refunded, reversed, or found to be fraudulent, the licence ends and library access may be revoked. You must stop using and delete retained copies, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
A partial refund or price reduction preserves your licence and library access unless the purchase is also subject to a payment dispute or reversal.
8. Termination for breach
We may terminate this licence after a material breach of its restrictions. Where a remedy is possible and notice would not create a security or infringement risk, we will notify you of the breach and allow a reasonable opportunity to correct it before termination. Immediate suspension may be necessary for fraud, unlawful redistribution, or a security incident. Termination does not prevent available legal remedies. Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, and liability survive termination where necessary to give them effect.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing in this licence excludes a statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Permissions available under copyright law, including applicable fair-dealing or accessibility exceptions, continue to apply.
10. Governing law and contact
This licence is governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, courts of competent jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction.
